Nico News

Nico’s Winter 2008 Issue was released and celebrated on November 19th at a launch party at Colette in Paris. The event was planned in association with MUDAM. It was an opportunity for Jean-Paul Lespagnard to show a preview of his Paper Dress collection, which was specially designed for an exhibition at Mudam in Luxembourg, Tate Modern in London and Anvers’ Fashion Museum.

The expectations were especially high since he was one of the 2008 winners at the Hyères Fashion & Photography Festival.

The newly released Nico is a collector issue with 8 different cover illustrations by Japanese artist Makiko Sugawa. Click here to see content preview.

As always we bring you ten interviews on the world of fashion, design, art and illustration. You will find interviews with DiorHomme's new Artistic Director Kris Van Assche, a unique look at two Scandinavian photographers Solve Sundsbo and Knotan whose experience and outlook differs a lot while they share a preference for the unusual, and much much more.

We have also initiated a new section entitled Faces, where we give you a glimpse of the cultural currents that are shaping the heart of a city, in this case Paris.

We will keep you informed on our upcoming events in the French capital and beyond.
